Performance

    Earth Piece and Fish are thoughtful meditations on people and landscape. In these works I have used natural materials, performance and viewer interaction to address environmental concerns. In Earth Piece the audience was asked to bury the artist thus becoming implicated; their actions or non-action defining the outcome and experience of the performance. 

    I seek to understand environmental concerns in a way that addresses the complexity of our relationship with nature and with each other.
